Ingredients

For the Stuffed Shells

  • 20โ€“22 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1ยฝ cups broccoli florets, finely chopped & lightly steamed
  • 1ยฝ cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ยฝ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Alfredo Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1ยฝ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Topping

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta Shells
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook jumbo shells until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Prepare the Filling
    In a large bowl, mix chicken, broccoli, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce
    In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sautรฉ for 30 seconds.
    Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 3โ€“4 minutes. Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth and creamy.
  4. Assemble the Dish
    Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
    Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce in a baking dish.
    Stuff each shell generously with the chicken mixture and place in the dish.
  5. Top & Bake
    Pour remaining Alfredo sauce over the shells. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
    Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
  6. Garnish & Serve
    Let rest 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
